Extreme and adventure tourism is at the peak of its development in Armenia. For real fans of extreme sports, there is everything you need, and our experts will help you spend your time with pleasure.
Upon arrival in Yerevan, known for its hospitality, at the airport you will be met by our employee with a sign “PARTNER TRAVEL”. On the way to the hotel, the manager will tell about the specifics of your tour and rest in Armenia, as well as answer all your questions. After checking into the hotel, you will have several hours at your disposal to rest after the flight. Further in the lobby you will be awaited by a guide, with whom you will take a walking tour through the central streets of Yerevan and get acquainted with the main sights of the capital. We will see such sights as Cascade (Art Museum - Cafesjian Center for the Arts), a viewing platform with a beautiful view of the city and the biblical Mount Ararat, walk along the Northern Avenue, also look at the Republic Square where you can enjoy the evening "Singing fountains". In the evening, we will have a welcome dinner in a traditional Armenian restaurant with a show program.
We go to the festival to Yell Extreme Park in Yenokavan. Yenokavan is one of the most beautiful places in Armenia, surrounded by forests and rocks on all sides. At the festival in honor of the birthday of the amusement park you can enjoy such activities as horse riding, paragliding, mountain climbing, mountain biking and zip line. For two days the whole event will be accompanied by music, folk dances and various competitive programs. We will spend the night in a resort hotel.
We will continue the first half of the second festival day with the same program, and in the second half, we will go to Lastiver. 4 km on foot along the mountain paths and we are in place. Lastiver is a paradise where you can admire the waterfalls, gorge, fresh forest air and caves where people used to live. Lunch and dinner will be prepared by ourselves using fire, and we will spend the night in houses built on a tree.
In the afternoon, we will return to Yenokavan, where we will be awaited by a bus that will take us to Dilijan. The city is a national park, and the city itself is so beautiful that it seems as if we were in the reserve. We stop at the monument to the film Mimino. We will see the modern school UWC Dilijan. Dinner will be held in a fish restaurant. For the night, we will stay in a hotel.
In the morning, we will go on a sightseeing tour of the city, and visit the Parz Lake. Here you will feel peace and tranquility. Then we will advance to the village of Fioletovo, whose inhabitants are mostly Russian Molokans. The village was founded in 1820 by the exiled Molokans of the Tambov province. We will get to know the locals, find out what they are doing, and talk about the old traditions that have come down to today. Lunch will be held right in the village together with the locals. All cooked meals will be from homemade products of their own production: butter, milk, vegetables and other goodies. In the evening, we will return to Yerevan and will spend the evening at our disposal.
After breakfast you should expect a day of contrasts. Grandpa Levon's Cave - a network of tunnels under an unremarkable house, which was created by the hands of one person for 23 years! The next point is the Charents arch. This is a monument to the Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents. The arch is installed in a place where views of the whole nature of Armenia and the magnificent, majestic Ararat open. Then we will go to the only pagan temple preserved in Armenia - Garni, we will look at the amazing phenomenon of the “symphony of stones” - hexahedral basalt rock formations. After that, we will take part in a master class on baking lavash and even try to bake it ourselves. Next, we will have a real Armenian dinner (shish kebab, kabab, etc.) Then we will go to Geghard Monastery - an amazing example of medieval architecture, part of the monastery is carved right in the rock.
Today visits to architectural monuments from different periods of the Middle Ages are scheduled for us. The first is Ohanavank (5th-14th centuries), and the second is Saghmosavank (13th century). Ohanavank impresses with its location. It literally looms over the gorge. From the edge of the cliff offers a magnificent view of the gorge. Saghmosavank has its own unique location on the edge of the canyon. Photos on the background of this landscape may turn out such as if you are floating in the air. In the year of the celebration of the 16th century of the Armenian writing (2005) giant letters of the alphabet were installed - we will also see this monument along the way. Next, we will go to the city of Vanadzor, where we will stay for the night.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have a trip to Echmiadzin, the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. During the excursion we will visit to the cathedral (4th century), the church museum and the church of St. Hripsime (7th century). On the way to Yerevan, we will visit the ruins of the Zvartnots temple. It was built in 661. At the end of the 10th century, an earthquake destroyed the temple. Zvartnots is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Today the second festival in the route of our tour and the second experience in Armenia of such a phenomenon as event tourism - the Sevan Music Festival, await us. Now imagine: Sevan, changing color by mood, air filled with music from different countries and nations, summer is in full swing, local food and drinks, general carefree fun ... I want to break away! Besides watching the beauty of mountain-lake landscapes and music, you can indulge in a beach holiday: swim, go boating or just sunbathe.
On the final day of our trip we will go to the atmospheric Vernissage market in Yerevan, where everything is sold, from jewelry to carpets. And after gifts and souvenirs are bought for your relatives and friends, the driver will kindly take everyone to the airport and will not lose anyone on the way.
