We will spend the night in tents in the open air and under the open sky.
In the morning, we return to Yerevan and participate in the second festival, thus continuing our acquaintance with such a phenomenon as event tourism. After a hearty lunch, we will go to the brandy factory for a tour and tasting of Armenian brandy varieties. Today we will go to get acquainted with the monuments of cultural heritage. Before visiting the pagan temple, we will get acquainted with the cave of grandfather Levon. This is a unique object of modern art. Levon had been digging a network of tunnels alone for 23 years. Next, we will visit the Garni temple, learn many interesting facts about this pagan temple, go down and see the phenomenon of the “symphony of stones” - a natural landmark crystallized under pressure: the basalt is formed into almost regular hexagons. The second object for today is Geghard cave monastery. So the monastery was called due to the fact that half of the monastery is carved into a rock. This unique structure at one time served as a defensive fortress against the attacks of enemies and a haven for wanderers. On the way back, we will stop for lunch, where a master class on baking lavash will be organized for us.
We will have breakfast and go to the “Armenian Sea” - Lake Sevan. Sevan is the largest freshwater lake in the region. You will learn many more facts and stories from our guide on the spot. Visit the alley of khachkars, the oldest of which is dated to the fifth century. For lunch, we will be served the famous Sevan trout. A light breeze and a beautiful view of the lake - that’s what awaits us during lunch in the open air. Relaxing on the beach. Whoever would want to can take a swim. Afterwards we will go to “little Switzerland” - the city of Dilijan. So it was called for a reason, dense forests in combination with beautiful relief mountains give this area magnificent views. A photo on the background of such beauty will seem something unreal to your friends. We will visit the mountain lake Parz Lake, which lies at an altitude of 1,334 meters above sea level in Dilijan National Park. Horse rides, boat rides, cafes and a rope park are available here. Accommodations will be organized in the city of Dilijan. After sighing the cleanest mountain air in the morning, you will want to stay here for a long time.
In the morning, we will go on a city tour, and then move forward to the village of Fioletovo. The inhabitants here are mostly Russian Molokans. The village was founded in 1820 by the exiled Molokans of the Tambov province. We will get to know the locals, find out what they are doing, and talk about the old traditions that have survived to this day. We will have lunch right here with the locals. Everything prepared will be from homemade products of their own production: butter, milk, vegetables and other goodies. In the evening, we will return to Yerevan and will spend the evening with our disposal.
We will visit the Vernissage flea market, where you can buy souvenirs, gifts, jewelry for yourself and loved ones. Also, will visit the grocery market. Here it is possible to purchase sweet sujukh, homemade vodka, cheese from the milk of various animals and many more healthy and tasty products.
