Five days are not enough to see Armenia, but for the first acquaintance it is worth starting from this period. Our professionals have created a tour, during which the guests will travel around Armenia for five days and get acquainted with the many-sided country and each of its regions separately.
Upon arrival in Yerevan, known for its hospitality, our staff member will meet our guests at the airport with a sign “PARTNER TRAVEL”. On the way to the hotel, the manager will tell the guests about the peculiarities of the upcoming tour and rest in Armenia, as well as answer all your questions. There will be a few hours rest for the guests after the flight. Then, at the appointed time in the lobby, their personal guide will already await the guests; together they will go on a walking tour through the central streets of the capital and get acquainted with the main sights of Yerevan. We will see such famous places as Cascade and Gafesjian Center for Arts Museum, climb the observation platform, favorite for tourists, where a beautiful view of the city and the biblical Mount Ararat opens, walk along the Northern Avenue, and will visit the Republic Square where in the evenings you can enjoy the “singing fountains”.
Well, was yesterday interesting? Today will be even more exciting. After a delicious breakfast, we will go to Khor Virap - the very monastery in which basement St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned. The guide will tell you more about this story on-site. In addition, Khor Virap is located on the closest point to Mount Ararat in Armenia, from where a magnificent view of the mountain opens up. Further, our way goes to the monastery complex of Noravank, located on the ledge of a narrow gorge and surrounded by red rocks. This is really impressive! The next stop will be the village of Areni, where we will organize tasting of the most delicious wines of the region. Well, are you hungry? Let's start dinner; national Armenian dishes and delicious wines await you on the table. We return to Yerevan and spend the evening on our own. P.S. If necessary, we will provide information on the destinations and establishments you are interested in.
After breakfast, we hit the road. Levon's Cave, our next station, is a truly interesting location, because it was created by one person for 23 years. It all began with a cellar for potatoes, dug at the request of the spouse. Now it is a network of tunnels. Next, we will go to the pagan temple of Garni and look at the “symphony of stones” - a rocky formation of six-sided cylindrical basalt formations. Yesterday was wine tasting, and today is a master class on baking lavash. We cannot promise that you will learn to bake lavash immediately, but at least you will see how it is baked by experts. Well, then we will have a delicious lunch (shish kebab, kebab, etc.) The last location is the monastery complex Gehard, part of which is carved completely inside the rock, and for a long time, there was the spear in the monastery, by which the body of Jesus Christ was pierced. In the evening, upon returning to Yerevan we will admire the “singing fountains” in the Republic Square together after free time.
After breakfast, we will go to the largest freshwater lake in the region, Sevan, where Sevan trout and very tasty crayfish live. For lovers of extreme sports, water rides will be available. We will go up to the monastery of Sevanavank and find ourselves on the observation deck. Lunch will be held on the shore of Lake Sevan, after which we will continue our journey to the beautiful city of Dilijan. Dilijan Reserve, Lake Parz and the city itself will undoubtedly remain in your hearts for many years. Upon returning to Yerevan, we will offer you to visit the best restaurants and interesting places of the capital during your free time.
On the final day of our trip, we will go to the atmospheric flea market Vernissage after breakfast. After gifts and souvenirs for relatives and friends are bought, all the guests will be transferred to the airport.
